In order to create an effective learning plan, parents and educators must have a clear understanding of each student’s strengths, challenges, and how they learn best. Establishing which assessments will provide information to best craft an individual educational plan is the first step in the process.
Educational Evaluations and
Learning Profiles
Partnering with educational leaders in the public schools to identify student needs and develop educational plans to address those needs is the purpose of educational advocates. Helping parents prepare for school meetings, review documents, and get the instructional services their children require is central to the work of EIA.
IEP and 504 Advocacy
EIA Advocates can recommend a wide-range of tools and recommended reading for to broaden parent’s understanding of IEP meetings, executive functioning, and school transitions.
